MANFAAT PENGGUNAAN DATABASE TERHADAP KINERJA BISNIS DIGITAL

Abstract

In the current era, it is considered a companies using digital tools to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of business performance. The presence of technology is seen to significantly influence consumer satisfaction, which is now highly variable. This poses a challenge in conducting business in a digital environment. Companies are required to effectively and efficiently manage data and information for business progress. One of the information technologies that can assist companies in managing data effectively is a Database. Databases are considered highly proficient in data processing. With various options for data processors in databases such as MySQL, SQL Server, MS Access, Oracle, and PostgreSQL, they can greatly aid the performance of a company. This research aims to examine the influence of database usage on digital business performance. The research method employed in this writing is qualitative research with a literature review research type, conducted by gathering data from books, scientific journals, and articles related to the writing theme. The data sources used in this article are primary and secondary data. The results show that databases have various benefits for digital business, including improving the efficiency and effectiveness of business operations, enhancing the quality of decision-making, and increasing customer satisfaction.
